Who we are?

Gujarati Community of Queensland (GCQ) is formed to promote and preserve Indian Culture and Festivals among all communities in Queensland and Australia.

 

Terms and Conditions
GCQ reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event, without expressed written permission of those included in the photograph/video. Images, photos and/or video may be used to promote similar events in the future, highlight day’s event, fundraising or any other purpose which align with GCQ’s aim to serve the community.
Children must be supervised all the time by parents/guardian

GCQ is commited to

  1. To undertake, organise, support, maintain and promote Indian Culture, Festivals, Educational activities for the interest of its members and community.
  2. To undertake, organise and do all such things as may be deemed appropriate and conductive towards the welfare, educational, economic, social and cultural advancement of its members and youth.
  3. To promote, foster and uphold the cultural and linguistic heritage of the community at large through initiation of activities which include but not limited to promotion of Indian culture, art, traditions, music and languages.
  4. To foster friendship among other same cause organisations. To raise and collect funds to achieve the objectives of the organisation.
